About Me

I am currently a young professional living in Washington, D.C., who studied political science, history, and international relations at the University of Rochester. I am passionate about issues affecting the United States and the world, and want to raise awareness about these issues through discourse and discussion. I hope to encourage individuals to take government into their own hands through active participation and holding our elected officials accountable. I believe that all citizens should reap the benefits of democracy, not just a select few.

Creativity is also an important part of my life and I devote energy to the creation of projects through photography, music, literature, and video. I have been playing the piano since the age of seven, and dabbling in amateur photography since high school. I've been inspired by many people in the arts, notably Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Ingrid Michaelson, and Emma Watson.
